Alice wins it late

Yurii finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 79 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Yurii didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Vlad in 4th, with 107 points. The comfort zone. In the fourth of the middle eights: Vlad called 2, took 5, and 3 others were left out in the cold. Vlad was ahead of Mara right up to the last hand. Vlad couldn't bear to look 7 times 🙈 — some cards are not meant to be seen.

Mara completed the podium with 108 points. The last hand decided it: Mara went past Vlad right on the line.

Kiki led for 20 hands but finished second, 1 point behind. Kiki was ahead of Alice right up to the last hand.

Alice won by a whisker, with just 1 point — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. Alice only went in front at the very last hand. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.
