The comeback of Ioana

6 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Elena closed the table from the back, on 92 points — there is always a next game. In the second of the closing eights: Elena called 3, took 6, and Ana was left out in the cold.

Ana finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 103 points. In the fifth of the closing eights: Ana said 3, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Ioana and Radu. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Mihai finished 4th with 111 points. One card, a single card, and Mihai still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Third, and on the podium: Radu, with 118 points. Radu was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way up.

Gigel led for 10 hands but finished second, 0 points behind. Level on points with Ioana, and behind only on the tie-break. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Gigel said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Neck and neck with Gigel, but Ioana kept their word better when it counted. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
