Elena never gave up the lead

Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

Last, but with style: Denisa, with 94 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the third of the middle eights: Denisa said 3, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Alice. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Denisa didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Mihai finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 98 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, on the podium: Alice, up there with eyes on the top step. Alice said they'd take nothing in the last of the opening eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Second place went to Cretu, with 115 points. Cretu swore 0 in the seven-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Elena takes the game with 124 points and goes home happy. In front from the last of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
