Mihai comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Mihai finishes on 113 points, 40 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. Mihai was even last after the seven-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Elena led for 10 hands but finished second, 40 points behind. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ana rounds out the podium with 58 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the last of the closing eights: Ana called 0, took 3, and Cretu was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Last place: Cretu, with 57 points. The place above was a single point away. After the two-card hand on the way up, Cretu was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
