The lead kept changing — Vyce came out on top
4 players · 20 October 2026
The lead changed hands 5 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.
PaulP took last place without any nerves at all, on 55 points. In the four-card hand on the way up: PaulP said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Vyce and edge. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only PaulP didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
edge rounds out the podium with 78 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. One card, a single card, and edge still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.
Adell finished second, just 0 points short of the win. Level on points with Vyce, and behind only on the tie-break. Adell was ahead of Vyce right up to the last hand.
Vyce finished level and took the win on the tie-break: fewer broken contracts. Whist rewards the player who keeps their word. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Vyce was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
Well played everyone. Same table next time?
