Luis completed the podium with 75 points. Luis was ahead of Monica right up to the last hand. Luis was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Monica took second with 76 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. The last hand decided it: Monica went past Luis right on the line. 2 hands in a row: Monica broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
