Mihai comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 41 slips at the table and scores from 93 down to 51.

Mihai took the game with 93 points and a 24-point cushion — never really in doubt. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 11 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Pity took second with 69 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: Pity broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Pity was even in front after the last of the middle eights.

Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 68 points. The place above was a single point away.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 51 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
