Elena takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 34 slips at the table and scores from 109 down to 73.

Elena won at a stroll, with 109 points and 20 clear of the rest.

Laura took second with 89 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the second of the opening eights: Laura said 2, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Ana and Elena. Laura spent a good while in last place and climbed out of it.

Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 85 points. Luis was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Ana closed the table from the back, on 73 points — there is always a next game. 2 hands in a row: only Ana slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ana. After the five-card hand on the way up, Ana was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
