Roua comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 5 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Roua won by a whisker, with just 1 point — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Elena finished second, just 1 point short of the win. In the last of the opening eights: Elena said 3, scooped 7, and Roua was left counting the pieces. The place above was a single point away.

Third, on the podium: unf0rgettable, up there with eyes on the top step. One card, a single card, and unf0rgettable still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Last place: Leize, with 61 points. Started like a champion — top of the table after the last of the opening eights — and finished like a tragedy. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Leize said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
