The comeback of edge

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Daniela took last place without any nerves at all, on 57 points. In the first of the closing eights: Daniela said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Cretu. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Daniela didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Elena completed the podium with 80 points. One card, a single card, and Elena still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Cretu led for 12 hands but finished second, 15 points behind. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, Cretu was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

edge won the game with 100 points. In the four-card hand on the way down, edge bid 1 and took 4 — and Daniela went down with it. 3 hands in a row: edge broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
