Kiki, from start to finish

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 36 slips at the table and scores from 92 down to 64.

Kiki won the game with 92 points. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Second place went to Elena, with 88 points. Elena said they'd take nothing in the last of the closing eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Ana rounds out the podium with 72 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Ana went past Mihai right on the line. In the third of the middle eights: Ana called 0, took 3, and Kiki was left out in the cold.

The tail of the table: Mihai, with 64 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. In the third of the opening eights, Mihai bid 1 and took 5 — and Elena went down with it. Mihai was ahead of Ana right up to the last hand.
