edge takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 34 slips at the table and scores from 119 down to 55.

edge wins by 29 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band.

unf0rgettable took second with 90 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. unf0rgettable was even in front after the four-card hand on the way down.

Third, on the podium: Scorpio04, up there with eyes on the top step. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Scorpio04 didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Cristian Imparat took last place without any nerves at all, on 55 points. In the third of the opening eights: Cristian said 3, scooped 6, and Scorpio04 was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Cristian didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
