Cretu comes back from behind

First place: Cretu, with 94 points. Cretu was even last after the third of the middle eights, which makes the win all the sweeter.

Ana took the runner-up spot with 87 points. The last hand decided it: Ana went past Mihai right on the line. Ana was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 84 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the third of the opening eights: Mihai called 3, took 6, and Ana was left out in the cold. Mihai was ahead of Ana right up to the last hand.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 59 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Elena was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
