Last place: Mihai, with 67 points. In the third of the middle eights: Mihai said 1, scooped 4, and Ana was left counting the pieces. After the two-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Lucky, with 70 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Lucky said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Lucky couldn't bear to look 4 times 🙈 — some hands are better not watched.

Elena took second with 78 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the third of the opening eights: Elena called 2, took 5, and Lucky was left out in the cold.

Ana wins by 25 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
