An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 40 slips at the table and scores from 95 down to 54.
Sebi wins by 28 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.
Kiki took second with 67 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. One card, a single card, and Kiki still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.
PaulP completed the podium with 58 points. The last hand decided it: PaulP went past Denisa right on the line.
The tail of the table: Denisa, with 54 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. In the second of the opening eights, Denisa bid 3 and took 7 — and Kiki and PaulP went down with them. Denisa was ahead of PaulP right up to the last hand.
