Luis takes the table

Luis won at a stroll, with 129 points and 40 clear of the rest. In the last of the middle eights: Luis said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Ana. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Mihai took second with 89 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: Mihai broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Mihai was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Daniel S completed the podium with 65 points. 2 hands in a row: only Daniel slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Daniel.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 49 points. After the five-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
