The comeback of Ionela

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Last place, with dignity: Mihai, with 85 points. Somebody had to do it. Started like a champion — top of the table after the three-card hand on the way down — and finished like a tragedy. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Third, and on the podium: Ana, with 89 points. The place above was a single point away. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Luis led for 13 hands but finished second, 15 points behind. In the second of the closing eights, Luis bid 1 and took 5 — and Ana and Mihai went down with them.

First place: Ionela, with 105 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
