Carmen takes the table

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

Carmen finishes on 148 points, 33 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. 15 good hands in a row — at one point, Carmen was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

GIBO took second with 115 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. GIBO said they'd take nothing in the fifth of the closing eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Third, and on the podium: Roua, with 100 points. In the first of the opening eights: Roua said 1, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Adrian Gh and GIBO. The fourth of the middle eights: 2 chairs thrown at Roua in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Denisa in 4th, with 98 points. The comfort zone. After the three-card hand on the way up, Denisa was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans. In the three-card hand on the way down, Denisa was showered with 2 kisses in a matter of seconds 💋.

Cretu finished 5th with 83 points. Cretu was even in front after the last of the opening eights. The five-card hand on the way down: 3 chairs thrown at Cretu in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

Adrian Gh closed the table from the back, on 77 points — there is always a next game. In the fifth of the middle eights: Adrian called 2, took 6, and Cretu was left out in the cold.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
