Radu takes it in the closing rounds

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

3 points. That's all. Radu won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. Radu only went in front at the very last hand.

Ana led for 11 hands but finished second, 3 points behind. Ana was ahead of Radu right up to the last hand.

Ioana completed the podium with 80 points. Ioana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

edge took last place without any nerves at all, on 54 points. In the third of the middle eights: edge said 1, scooped 5, and Ana and Ioana were left counting the pieces. After the seven-card hand on the way up, edge was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone — and especially Radu!
