Daniel comes back from behind

5 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

First place, no appeal: Daniel S, with 70 points. Daniel only went in front at the very last hand. In the last of the opening eights, Daniel bid 3 and took 6 — and Mihai and unf0rgettable went down with them.

Elena led for 15 hands but finished second, 9 points behind. Elena was ahead of Daniel S right up to the last hand.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 59 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Last, but with style: unf0rgettable, with 54 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Leading by the book until the four-card hand on the way down... then the cards turned the page. unf0rgettable, hard luck. In the third of the opening eights: unf0rgettable said 1, scooped 4, and Daniel S and Mihai were left counting the pieces.
