A game of broken contracts — 36 of them around the table, and scores from 106 all the way down to 51.
Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 51 points. In the third of the closing eights: Elena called 2, took 6, and Mihai was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.
Third, on the podium: Ana, up there with eyes on the top step. A quiet finish: far from the place above, safe from the one below.
Mihai led for 20 hands but finished second, 10 points behind. Mihai said they'd take nothing in the two-card hand on the way down... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.
Kiki gathered 106 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.
