The comeback of edge

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Luis took last place without any nerves at all, on 71 points. After the three-card hand on the way up, Luis was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Vyce completed the podium with 87 points. On the one-card hand, Vyce laid down a card and a fistful of luck. It held.

Adell led for 14 hands but finished second, 2 points behind. Adell was ahead of edge right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Adell didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
