Ioana comes back from behind

6 players, 30 hands, one winner. Here is how it went.

Ioana takes the game with 136 points and goes home happy. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Coca led for 19 hands but finished second, 5 points behind. In the fifth of the middle eights, Coca bid 0 and took 3 — and Kiki went down with it. 12 good hands in a row — at one point, Coca was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Alice rounds out the podium with 112 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Alice swore 0 in the third of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Mara finished 4th with 96 points. Mara got past Kiki at the very last hand. Mara spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Kiki in 5th, with 94 points. The comfort zone. The last hand decided it: Kiki went past Luis right on the line. Kiki was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Last place, with dignity: Luis, with 91 points. Somebody had to do it. In the second of the closing eights: Luis said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Alice and Kiki. Luis was ahead of Mara right up to the last hand. Luis cried laughing 4 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.
