The comeback of unf0rgettable

One evening, 5 players, a single crown. The rest — stories to tell over coffee.

The tail of the table: Elena, with 82 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. In the first of the middle eights: Elena called 0, took 3, and Scorpio04 was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.

Radu finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 86 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Radu said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Scorpio04 completed the podium with 111 points. The place above was a single point away. Scorpio04 was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Mihai took second with 112 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

unf0rgettable took the game with 134 points and a 22-point cushion — never really in doubt. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 12 good hands in a row — at one point, unf0rgettable was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
