Elena takes the table

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

Elena won at a stroll, with 135 points and 22 clear of the rest.

Ioana took second with 113 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Ioana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ana completed the podium with 110 points. 13 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Vlad finished 4th with 110 points. Level on points with Ana, and behind only on the tie-break. After the two-card hand on the way up, Vlad was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

In 5th place, Radu, on 84 points. Radu left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 69 points. 15 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
