Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 51 points. 4 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
Third, on the podium: Mihai, up there with eyes on the top step. In the last of the opening eights: Mihai said 4, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Denisa. Mihai was even in front after the two-card hand on the way down.
Ana finishes second, 11 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Ana was even in front after the last of the opening eights. At one stretch, 10 good hands in a row.
Denisa crossed the finish line first, on 103 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
