Cretu, from start to finish

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

Cretu won at a stroll, with 120 points and 32 clear of the rest. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. At one stretch, 11 good hands in a row.

unf0rgettable took second with 88 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. The first of the closing eights: unf0rgettable called 7 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand.

Kiki completed the podium with 71 points. In the third of the closing eights, Kiki bid 0 and took 4 — and unf0rgettable went down with it.

crista took last place without any nerves at all, on 52 points. In the second of the opening eights: crista called 5, took 8, and Kiki was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: crista broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
