Denisa never gave up the lead

Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 57 points. In the second of the opening eights, Elena bid 1 and took 4 — and Mihai went down with it. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

edge completed the podium with 95 points. In the seven-card hand on the way down: edge called 2, took 5, and Elena and Mihai were left out in the cold.

Mihai finishes second, 14 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Mihai spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round. At one stretch, 10 good hands in a row.

Denisa crossed the finish line first, on 113 points. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
