Elena wins it late

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 46 points. In the five-card hand on the way down: Mihai said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Ana and Elena. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Luis rounds out the podium with 77 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Luis swore 0 in the first of the middle eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Ana led for 14 hands but finished second, 4 points behind. Ana was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand. At one stretch, 7 good hands in a row.
