Mihai takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 38 slips at the table and scores from 93 down to 52.

First place and peace of mind: Mihai, with 93 points.

Second place for MrXciting, with 80 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. MrXciting got past Ana at the very last hand. In the seven-card hand on the way up: MrXciting said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for 3 others.

Ana rounds out the podium with 79 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the second of the middle eights: Ana called 0, took 3, and MrXciting was left out in the cold. Ana was ahead of MrXciting right up to the last hand.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 52 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Well played everyone — and especially Mihai!
