A tug of war, won by Cretu

Daniel S finishes second, 16 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. The last hand decided it: Daniel went past Mihai right on the line. In the fourth of the opening eights: Daniel called 2, took 5, and Vlad was left out in the cold.

Mihai completed the podium with 100 points. Mihai was ahead of Daniel S right up to the last hand. Mihai was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

In 4th place, GeorgeS, on 84 points. In the first of the closing eights: GeorgeS called 2, took 5, and Vlad was left out in the cold.

Vlad took last place without any nerves at all, on 59 points. 3 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Vlad didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
