Denisa takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 34 slips at the table and scores from 107 down to 69.

Denisa finishes on 107 points, 20 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. In the seven-card hand on the way down: Denisa called 2, took 6, and Laura was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Denisa broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Laura took second with 87 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Laura didn't — but insisted, with dignity. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.

Third, and on the podium: unf0rgettable, with 81 points. In the last of the middle eights: unf0rgettable said 2, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Emi.

Last, but with style: Emi, with 69 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Before the last eights, only 7 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Well played everyone — and especially Denisa!
