Elena wins the evening

6 players, 30 hands, one winner and a pile of excuses. Let's see how it went.

The tail of the table: Luis, with 86 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. The second of the middle eights: Luis bid 6, made fewer, and counted the regrets. Luis cried laughing 3 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Radu finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 95 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Radu said and... hoped. It didn't hold. After the three-card hand on the way up, Radu was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Ioana finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 112 points. The place above was a single point away. Ioana was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Third, on the podium: Kiki, up there with eyes on the top step. Kiki said they'd take nothing in the second of the opening eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Mihai, with 120 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Champion of the evening: Elena, with 132 points. The rest, see you in the replay. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Elena was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
