Elena closes out the table, with 65 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. Elena was ahead of Cosmin right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Third, and on the podium: Ana, with 66 points. Ana got past Elena at the very last hand.

Cosmin took second with 74 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. The last hand decided it: Cosmin went past Elena right on the line. Cosmin was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai wins by 29 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
