The comeback of Carmen

The lead changed hands 7 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

The tail of the table: Cristian Imparat, with 92 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. From leader to red lantern. The little wedge tipped the big cart — and the cart was Cristian. In the third of the closing eights: Cristian called 0, took 3, and 3 others were left out in the cold.

Daniela finished 5th with 100 points. In the first of the opening eights: Daniela said 2, scooped 5, and Cozo and Nico were left counting the pieces. After the two-card hand on the way up, Daniela was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans. Daniela cried laughing 3 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Adrian Gh finished 4th with 108 points. Adrian was ahead of Cozo right up to the last hand. After the three-card hand on the way up, Adrian was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Cozo completed the podium with 112 points. The last hand decided it: Cozo went past Adrian Gh right on the line. From the tail of the table to a warm spot: Cozo plays right down to the last card.

Nico finished second, just 2 points short of the win. Nico was even in front after the third of the middle eights.

Carmen won with 132 points, by a whisker: just 2 points ahead. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
