Petru comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

First place, no appeal: Petru, with 98 points. In the six-card hand on the way down, Petru bid 1 and took 4 — and Daniel S went down with it. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. In the first of the middle eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Petru: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Second place went to Alice, with 83 points. In the seven-card hand on the way down, Alice bid 0 and took 3 — and Daniel S went down with it. Alice was even in front after the first of the closing eights.

Daniel S rounds out the podium with 62 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Daniel broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Last, but with style: Alina, with 57 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Leading by the book until the last of the opening eights... then the cards turned the page. Alina, hard luck. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Alina said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
