The comeback of Lucky

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 61 points. In the first of the middle eights: Mihai said 0, scooped 3, and Elena was left counting the pieces. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Elena completed the podium with 83 points. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena. Elena was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down.

Ana finished second, just 3 points short of the win. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity. At one stretch, 7 good hands in a row.

3 points. That's all. Lucky won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
