Ana takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 41 slips at the table and scores from 86 down to 57.

Ana won the game with 86 points. 7 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Mihai finishes second, 9 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. In the third of the middle eights: Mihai called 2, took 5, and Emi was left out in the cold. Mihai was even in front after the four-card hand on the way down.

Third, on the podium: Emi, up there with eyes on the top step. The third of the middle eights: Emi called 6 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand.

Last place, with dignity: Elena, with 57 points. Somebody had to do it. In the six-card hand on the way down: Elena said 2, scooped 5, and Ana was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
