The comeback of Olga

A game of broken contracts — 42 of them around the table, and scores from 81 all the way down to 58.

Vyce closed the table from the back, on 58 points — there is always a next game. Vyce was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Vyce was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, on the podium: Mihai, up there with eyes on the top step. Mihai got past Vyce at the very last hand. In the first of the opening eights: Mihai said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Vyce.

Cosmin led for 14 hands but finished second, 21 points behind. In the third of the middle eights: Cosmin called 0, took 3, and Olga was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only Cosmin slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Cosmin.

Olga took the game with 81 points and a 21-point cushion — never really in doubt. Olga cried laughing 3 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
