Ana comes back from behind

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

Champion of the evening: Ana, with 130 points. The rest, see you in the replay.

Second place for Cosmin, with 126 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. Cosmin got past Vyce at the very last hand. In the first of the opening eights: Cosmin said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Ana.

Third, and on the podium: Vyce, with 121 points. Vyce was ahead of Cosmin right up to the last hand. At one stretch, 12 good hands in a row.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Radu in 4th, with 117 points. The comfort zone. Radu spent a good while in last place and climbed out of it.

Elena finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 116 points. The place above was a single point away. Elena was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai closes out the table, with 105 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. After the two-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
