Claudiu comes back from behind

11 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Claudiu won by a whisker, with just 2 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.

Daniela led for 14 hands but finished second, 2 points behind. In the second of the middle eights: Daniela called 2, took 6, and 3 others were left out in the cold.

Third, and on the podium: edge, with 124 points. edge was even in front after the third of the middle eights.

In 4th place, Adrian Gh, on 96 points. After the four-card hand on the way up, Adrian was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 76 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Last place, with dignity: Roua, with 63 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Roua said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
