Mihai comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 40 slips at the table and scores from 88 down to 53.

First place, no appeal: Mihai, with 88 points. In the second of the opening eights: Mihai called 3, took 6, and crista was left out in the cold. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Luis led for 12 hands but finished second, 8 points behind. Luis got past Ionela at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Luis said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Ionela completed the podium with 74 points. Ionela was ahead of Luis right up to the last hand.

crista took last place without any nerves at all, on 53 points. 13 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
