The comeback of Ana

The lead passed from hand to hand, 11 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Last place, with dignity: Radu, with 65 points. Somebody had to do it. Leading by the book until the last of the opening eights... then the cards turned the page. Radu, hard luck. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Radu said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Elena completed the podium with 73 points. Elena was even in front after the two-card hand on the way up.

Second place went to edge, with 87 points. edge was ahead of Ana right up to the last hand. edge was even in front after the second of the closing eights.

Ana gathered 92 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! Ana only went in front at the very last hand. In the third of the opening eights: Ana said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for edge.
