Luis never gave up the lead

Mihai took second with 103 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Luis finishes on 127 points, 24 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Luis was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
