Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Luis, with 88 points. In the third of the opening eights: Luis said 0, scooped 3, and Adell and Vyce were left counting the pieces. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row. Luis cried laughing 6 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Adell completed the podium with 60 points. 2 hands in a row: only Adell slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Adell.

Last, but with style: edge, with 49 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the first of the opening eights: edge said 0, made 5, and the evening was ruined for 3 others. After the two-card hand on the way up, edge was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
