Laura comes back from behind

6 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Laura won at a stroll, with 98 points and 26 clear of the rest. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 12 good hands in a row.

Victor Mihail took second with 72 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Victor said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Victor was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down. Victor cried laughing 5 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Third, and on the podium: Claudiu, with 70 points. One card, a single card, and Claudiu still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Leize took last place without any nerves at all, on 44 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Leize didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
