The comeback of Elena

Last, but with style: Ana, with 72 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Top of the table after the seven-card hand on the way down, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Luis rounds out the podium with 81 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Luis was even in front after the third of the middle eights.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Mihai, with 83 points. In the third of the closing eights: Mihai said 4, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Elena and Luis. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

First place and peace of mind: Elena, with 94 points. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, Elena was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
