Florentin takes it in the closing rounds

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

2 points. That's all. Florentin won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. Florentin only went in front at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Florentin didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Vyce finished second, just 2 points short of the win. Vyce was ahead of Florentin right up to the last hand. Vyce was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way up.

crista rounds out the podium with 67 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: crista broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

The tail of the table: Petru, with 59 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. In the second of the closing eights, Petru bid 1 and took 4 — and Florentin went down with it. After the two-card hand on the way up, Petru was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
