Vyce never gave up the lead

A game of broken contracts — 47 of them around the table, and scores from 82 all the way down to 38.

Kiki took last place without any nerves at all, on 38 points. In the last of the middle eights: Kiki said 1, scooped 5, and Luis was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Kiki said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Luis rounds out the podium with 56 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Luis broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. In the second of the middle eights, 2 chairs flew at Luis within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Sebi took second with 62 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Sebi spent a good while in last place and climbed out of it. In the last of the middle eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Sebi: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Vyce finishes on 82 points, 20 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. In the last of the closing eights: Vyce called 0, took 5, and 3 others were left out in the cold. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Well played everyone — and especially Vyce!
