Radu comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 11 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Radu won with 98 points, by a whisker: just 3 points ahead. Radu only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Denisa led for 13 hands but finished second, 3 points behind. Denisa was ahead of Radu right up to the last hand.

Mihai completed the podium with 86 points. The last hand decided it: Mihai went past Ana right on the line. 2 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai.

In 4th place, Ana, on 84 points. In the last of the opening eights: Ana called 1, took 4, and Denisa and Radu were left out in the cold. Ana was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand.

Last, but with style: Elena, with 83 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Started like a champion — top of the table after the five-card hand on the way down — and finished like a tragedy. In the third of the closing eights: Elena said 0, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Mihai.
